Tree Counter

About Us

Kevin Godlington

Former Special Forces soldier and Foreign Office Africa specialist, advisor to 2 prime ministers, co-founder of national charity, Tickets for Troops -turned entrepreneur.

Kev took on the conflict Asian palm oil industry and companies who refused to pay fairly for sustainable oils and fats -to prove that sustainable and traceable palm oil to empower smallholders in Africa could be done! And that done properly a palm tree is 5 times more sustainably productive than all other oil crops, and that the dairy, soya and other industries were intentionally trying to ‘cancel’ palm oil for reasons other than deforestation.

Today he runs the largest co-op of palm oil, organic, RSPO, fair trade, ROC farmers in the world and supplies 30% of the worlds organic palm oil to food supply chains globally.

Deeply unsettled by the carbon markets behaviour, stealing from sovereign governments, double counting, and blocking small farmers. He’s back for a second campaign!

A self-made serial entrepreneur with £100m+ of assets under founded management, Kev is the indomitable founder of Carbon Done Right with Neil.

Neil Passmore

Neil is a decorated attack helicopter pilot (A real pilot unlike Kev who is civilian qualified, which doesn’t really count) he read Biology at Oxford and is deeply nerdy at heart who loves trees

He then went on to a distinguished career at JP Morgan doing banky type things with banky type people.

He is the CEO and co-founder of Hannam & Partners. He has worked for 20 years in natural resources corporate finance, advising on a broad spread of capital market and M&A transactions for clients including Xstrata, Savannah, Amira, Ophir and others.

He has raised over $30 billion in capital in more than 45 capital markets transactions in his career, as well as advising on several of the resource industry’s transformational mergers and acquisitions.

He is a Director of YPO’s London Chapter, and the Director of an agriculture company based in Guyana.

He is business partner with Kev and remarkably continues to finance him and his ridiculous ideas.
